Indian benchmark indices are expected to start the day on a flat note with positive bias on Tuesday. Despite the volatility in the market, the Rs 10,350-crore initial public offering of SBI Cards and Payment Services was off to a good a start on Monday. The share sale garnered 38 per cent subscription with the bulk of the bids coming from small investors, exchange data shows.
On Monday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 38144.02 down by -153.27 points or by -0.4 % and then NSE Nifty was at 11132.75 down by -69 points.
